David Pregerson has died as a result of his injuries.
Law enforcement officials are still searching for the hit-and-run driver who struck Pregerson, 23, and left him on the side of Chautauqua Boulevard in Pacific Palisades in the early hours of Dec. 27.
A recent graduate of UCLA, Pregerson’s Facebook page says that he is a film producer. On Sunday, someone named Ramtin gave information as to how people can donate blood on David’s behalf.
Rabbi Dovid Gurevich of the Chabad at UCLA described Pregerson as someone who “always has a smile on his face.”
The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information on the incident was urged to contact L.A. County Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-TIPS.
Our thought and prayers go out to David’s friends and family.
