Jennette McCurdy, Sam from Nickelodeon’s Sam & Cat lost her mother today due to cancer.
Jennette is understandably devastated as she was very close to her mom, Debra. Mom lost a long fought battle with the big C.
McCurdy canceled a hosting gig in NYC scheduled for this weekend on the heels of her mother’s death.

Debra had been battling breast cancer for 17 years. It went into remission but returned and spread throughout her body, including her brain in 2010.
