Alec Baldwin Daughter Ireland Has Never Met Her Sister

Alec Baldwin says his daughter Ireland has yet to meet her new sibling, Carmen..

Alec, 50, and his wife Hilaria, gave birth a baby girl three weeks ago and the couple hasn’t had the opportunity to introduce the tyke to her older sibling.. Partly because Ireland hasn’t shown up, yet. Ireland is from Alec’s previous marriage to actress Kim Basinger.

Speaking with David Letterman, Alec said of his daughter Ireland not yet making the effort to come meet her new baby sister, “It’s weird, you know?”

He added, it may take more of an effort to unite the half-sisters: “We’re going to hand her this three-week-old baby and say, ‘This is your sister.’

Ireland reached out to her sister via social media, posting an open letter to her half-sister.

She wrote on Tumblr: “Dear Carmen, You have entered the world! Welcome! We have all been anticipating your arrival! By we, I mean a lot of people.”

Wow, way to make an effort..

“”There are countless lessons that I want to teach you, but I have faith that you will learn a majority of them on your own journey and they will help you grow.”

She continued: “I love you, Carmen. You have been born into one crazy family.

“You are both lucky and cursed at the same time. We are going to have so much fun together. I can’t wait to meet you soon.”
