George Duke, keyboardist who played with the likes of legendary musicians from Miles Davis to Frank Zappa and from Michael Jackson to Stanley Clarke has died.. He performed for over his six decades in the music business.
Earlier this year Duke put out an album called DreamWeaver that was dedicated to his wife Corine, who passed away a year ago after battling cancer. The LP showed off the many sides of the versatile musician from avant-garde jazz to funk to R&B to soul. George had planned to tour behind the album. The cause of death is not known at this point.
