Gwyneth Paltrow Cookbook Vetted $120 Tuna Salad $71 Fish Fingers $25 Jar Honey

The name of Gwyneth Paltrow‘s new cookbook is, “It’s All Good,” and by ‘all good‘ I assume the actress is talking about her finances… It has been revealed that some of Paltrow’s dishes could cost hundreds of dollars to prepare, leaving her style of good eating out of the reach of most of us.

IAG hits store shelves this week and already it’s being universally panned by critics because only folks with a LOT of money could afford to consistently eat as outlined in the book.

The average daily cost to feed a small family would be approximately $300! For instance, the tasty egg white omelet calls for duck eggs and will run you at least $30! But that’s chicken feed compared to the Ironman star’s fish fingers recipe aimed at little ones will set you back $71.50.

Some of the ingredients Paltrow uses in the preparation of her meals are, how you say, pricey..

Manuka honey called for in the tuna salad alone averages about $25 a jar! A Jar!

“It’s All Good is drenched in a chatty faux-populism that could only come from a rich person fearlessly boasting about her life of privilege,” writes the critic at Eater.com.

“The book reads like the manifesto to some sort of creepy healthy-girl sorority with members who use beet juice rather than permanent marker to circle the ‘problem areas’ on each other’s bodies,” according to the New York Post.

 

And according to The Atlantic, “It’s All Good seems to take laughable Hollywood neuroticism about eating to the next level.”

Says the critic at Yahoo! “Seriously Gwyneth, we want to eat with you. But we can’t afford it. Unless you’re buying, Of course.” Source.
 
I think Paltrow should stick to what she’s good at, marrying rockstars and making their kid’s meals..
