Ex-figure skating sensation and innovator of the bowl haircut, Dorothy Hamill, says that nerve damage in her right leg and back caused her to quit Dancing With The Stars, the popular celebrity TV dance-off.
“It’s not fair to the show. It’s not fair to the other dancers,” Hamill said of continuing.
She had learned the choreography for the jive she performed last night with partner Tristan MacManus in only two days, putting it off as long as she could and hoping her body would recover before the performance Monday night.
