A man blew himself up inside a truck outside a western Pennsylvania home on Tuesday after strapping explosives to his chest. The resulting blast killed the man and injured two other people sending one of them to the hospital with critical injuries, in what authorities are calling America’s first suicide bomber…
Investigators ruled the death of 40-year-old Brad Kollar a suicide resulting from blunt force trauma after the blast shortly before 9 a.m.
His body was discovered strapped with bombs and inside his truck that was parked outside a home near Patton, about 70 miles east of Pittsburgh.
Apparently, Kollar was after the home’s owner, 44-year-old William Shaner, who was inside the building at the time of the blast and was taken to an area hospital and later flown to a larger General Hospital in Pittsburgh. He was listed in critical condition.
Police are still combing through what remains of a house that exploded in Clearfield Township, Pennsylvania.
