Jennifer Lawrence always knows just where to stick her foot in interviews. Does this lovable actress not have a publicist to control her mouth full of freedom? It’s kind of awesome she gets away with stuff she says, and still gets to rake in the big bucks as an actress…
The “Hunger Games” star interviewed with Vanity Fair Magazine for their February edition, and said more stuff that I personally find funny, but might be outrageous to you. In the interview with the mag she stated, “Not to be rude, but acting is stupid.” She then went on to explain why it is apparently so stupid. “Everybody’s like, ‘How can you remain with a level head?’ And I’m like, ‘Why would I ever get cocky? I’m not saving anybody’s life. There are doctors who save lives and firemen who run into burning buildings. I’m making movies. It’s stupid,'” Lawrence explained.
Lawrence says she even sometimes regrets getting into acting at all, considering the trouble that comes with the fame. “I call my mom sobbing all the time, dealing with the repercussions of having no more anonymity. You lose privacy. As much as this is a curse, as stupid as it sounds, to make as much money as I am by doing something that I love, it’s hard not to regret it when you’re being chased by 15 strangers, said Lawrence.
She is starting to remind me of Amanda Bynes’ former self when she used to tweet hilarious randomness. What’s even funnier than Jennifer Lawrence saying she thinks acting is stupid, is when she recently said to “Marie Claire” Magazine that she looks forward to sitting on the coach if she’s out somewhere. She was quoted, “I get stressed by the idea of missing them [reality shows],” meaning she would rather shack up with her couch and watch “The Kardashians” then be out at a happening party.
Here’s my favorite quote from her Marie Claire interview: “I’m kind of an old lady. After it’s 11, I’m like, ‘Don’t these kids ever get tired?’ When I’m out, I think about my couch. Like, ‘It would be awesome to be on it right now. I bet there’s an episode of Dance Moms on.”
