This is cool, an artist got detained or arrested, but okay so that’s not the cool part, after he got sprung, he used police radio calls in the creation of his music! And not just any music and not just any police calls, police calls he recorded on his cellphone while his was in custody!
I like the part where a cop addresses his buddy as “buttercup” — Hey when it comes to art I guess anything goes.

When asked if he was worried about cops being unhappy with the use of the secret recording he said, “I did not even do it on purpose, it was sort of a accidental pocket recording, plus they were only talking code about, who knows, probably getting lunch.”
