Mitt Romney Gets A Job! At The MARRIOTT!

Truth be told, Mitt Romney let a little moss grow under his feet before rejoining the workforce, but all that’s about to change, in a very boring way.

The good folks at Marriott announced Monday that the former GOP presidential candidate will rejoin their Board of Directors in a position that he held prior to his presidential run.

“It is an honor to once again be able to serve in the company of leaders like Bill Marriott and Arne Sorenson and to support the work of the tens of thousands of Marriott associates who make Marriott International the renowned success that it is,” Romney wrote in a statement distributed by Marriott.

I have to say, I’m not so sure this is a good move for Romney, I was taught by wise people in my life to always try and avoid going backward. With all his money and newly acquired fame, he could have done something interesting and fun! Why go back and sit on a board? It’s in the name! BORING!
