Kid Rock’s beer company, American Badass Beer, will no longer be produced because the bank foreclosed on the company’s headquarters this spring.
American Badass hasn’t completely closed its door, or at least that what Rock wants you to believe.
“We are hoping to start production of Badass again before the end of the year, and are exceptionally grateful for the support of our distributors, retailers and consumers during this transition,” Rock company said in a written statement.
Powers Distributing, the company which carries Kid Rock’s beer said they have about a two-week supply of American Badass left.
And when it runs out?
“Then, I start to get nervous,” the distributor said. “If we can’t get his [Rock’s] brand, I have to replace his brand with other brands.”
On a side note, the Michigan Brewing Co. that produced Rock’s Badass beer was awarded more than $720,000 in state tax credits, but according to the Michigan Economic Development Corporation, never collected on it…
