Upscale Clothing Line Features Female Models Urinating Themselves

LONDON – An upscale British retailer sparked controversy by using models who look like they have urinated on themselves for its new advertising campaign.

The swanky British retailer Harvey Nichols launched a new clothing line featuring smartly-dressed, stony-faced men and women with wet patches on their clothing, along with the advice, “Try to contain your excitement.” The idea here is, the young women were so excited to see the sale prices, they wet themselves.

Twitter and Facebook are buzzing as folks try to describe the crazy campaign.

Julia Bowe, marketing director for the store, played down the reaction to the ads, describing them as merely a “humorous reaction to the often-irrational excitement sale time engenders.”
