85 year old woman Lenore Zimmerman said she was taken to a private room, and was asked to strip, after refusing to go through JFK airport’s X-Ray scanner.
Zimmerman told the TSA, that she would rather get a “pat down” instead, because the X-Ray body scanner would interfere with her defibrillator. That is when TSA pushed her in her wheelchair to the backroom.

Zimmerman says TSA made her take off her pants and other clothes, and then she was strip searched. She missed her flight to Ft. Lauderdale, and had to take another flight 2 1/2 hours later.
Zimmerman tells Associated Press, “I’m hunched over. I’m in a wheelchair. I weigh under 110 pounds,” she said from her winter home at a seniors community in Coconut Creek, Fla. “Do I look like a terrorist?”
