Hugh Jackman
Hugh Jackmanjust left his production company “Seed Productions”, where he was a partner with John Palermo, who was Jackman’s assistant from 2004-2006, and the two formed Seed in 2006. Jackman said he is going to focus on acting now, and Palermo has a new deal over at 20th Century Fox, where Seed’s office was.
Jackman not only quit the production company, he just also pulled out of the lead role for film “Avon Man” which is still going to be produced by Seed, and Jackman decided to take on Wolverine 2 instead, which will still be produced by Seed! Wolverine 2 starts in filming in early 2011 in Japan.
The statement says that Jackman will continue to work on some film deals with Palermo-probably the ones that were already in the works for this year and next year, but it seems that Jackman is pretty much carving his own path for the future.
I just have to tell you what the storyline for Avon Man is about because I think the contrast of the film vs. Wolverine is funny!
Imagine Hugh Jackman: “An unemployed car dealer who swaps motors for cosmetics and becomes Avon’s top selling door-to-door representative. He survives the emasculation, relies on his charm and becomes a top seller. He then tries to save his town and help his struggling family by pulling in his macho unemployed pals to hawk beauty products so they can win a regional contest.”

OH, just in case someone is a fly by nite reader and tries to interpret that I have an issue with someone being gay, the answer is no. Do I have an issue with someone cheating on their spouse, yes. Do I think Jackman is a stud? Yes. Do I have a very silly profile name? Uh yes, duh? ;)
Thank you Kaze for you very kind comments. What I should have said better is bad press as a result of the actor engaging i bad behavior. I could wake up tomorrow and find out Hugh Jackman is not perfect and had an affair on his wife or that he is gay I guess? But, I know he is not perfect but if I had to come back in this world, I would want to be as near perfect as all men should be is what I was trying to say. I mean women love men who are real men but then can be graceful and sensitive. Most women want the entire package and who is to blame them? I do not doubt that bad press exists for every movie star somewhere but I was really at a loss trying to think of any when I was writing "Jackman is a Stud" blog! :) Hello to you sir where ever you are and if you are in Australia, I love you nation!!!! :)

unfortunately I have to point out that 'certain press' hates him, considering that often use this actor as 'target' of vulgar innuendo in order to ruin his career.
If I had to come back in this world as someone, I would come back as Hugh Jackman. Look at that picture of him. Give me a break. What I like about the guy is he is very intelligent, has an awesome sense of humor, good looking, is a dancer, singer, actor, athletic, and is a good person. I mean what flaws does the guy have really? And, he is married to the love of his life and I have no doubt he treats her like a queen. He is the coolest guy in my book and did I forget to say he has an aussie accent? The guy could literally date just about any woman on the planet but he is content with his lovely wife. He is such a classy guy too. I saw him in the Oscars recently where he hosted the show and he was awesome. He had me laughing my ass off on some the comedy scenes he did. I was so impressed with him and very happy to see that some big movie stars can be down to earth and decent, kind people. He is the role model for how one should live there life whether blessed with all of his assets or not. He has a positive attitude and can laugh at himself easily. Have you heard of any bad press about Hugh Jackman? I guess I am guilty of a man crush but what I am guilty of is not hesitating of give praise where it surely must be mentioned. You look at some of the complete losers or worthless stars now in Hollyweird and you wish some of these people would go away. Hugh Jackman to me is the Cary Grant of our time. Some say George Clooney but Clooney does not have half the talent that Jackman can do. I never heard Clooney sing and dance and do not think he could kick the ass of three guys in a fight. Hugh Jackman is Cary Grant, Humphrey Bogart, and Marlin Brando with a touch of Fred Astaire all rolled into a Hugh Jackman action figure! He is what we used to say back home "a stud". Enough said ;)
