Gaga is a musician she is not the umstcoe designer, video director, photographer, stylist ect Artists borrower ideas, take inspiration and pay homage to one another all the time. In 22 for example Gwen even said she specifically took that look from Michelle Pfiffer in Scareface. Hell Madonna stole the idea for Vogue and several of her looks from an 80's girl band and THEN SUED THEM for copyright infringement. And as other have said, when you have hundreds of umstcoes a year it isn't very hard to find other pictures from the thousands and thousands of looks of others.

Lady G is from another flippin planet, man! When I read that Ozzy was getting into her, i had to check her out ~ like what the...; and now with the help of this website ThecounT, I've really been getting into this Ziggy Gaga from Venus fashions and music ~ she's very very artsy. Yes, she may have stood on Madonna shoulders a few times, but wow, Gaga is way way over the top more then Madonna ever was! Everyone can see traces of inspiration from other artists for sure, but the whole GAGA package is SO original, IMHO Lady Gaga is from the planet Venus :~)
I'm all for paying homage to Madonna, but for God's sake, does GaGa do ANYTHING original? It's a shame that her young fans have no idea that she is completely ripping off something that has already been done! Her "little monsters" are clueless and think she's just sooo creative and avant-garde! NOT.
