Barbie Heading to the Big Screen

Well, it’s only been 50 years!

Barbie, the blond bombshell who has graced toy shelves for decades, is finally becoming a movie star. Universal Pictures has grabbed the film rights to Barbie and plan on creating a motion picture about her, with Julie & Julia’s Laurence Mark producing.

I wonder what a Barbie film will be like. Will it be modern Barbie or classic Barbie? Will she be impossibly skinny and fit or realistic? And, most importantly, what will her job be? Flight attendant, nurse? The options are endless.
