An official press release from Summit Entertainment on Tuesday announced, alongside collaborator Creation Entertainment, a series of Official Twilight Fan Conventions to be held in various selected cities in North America starting this month!
The press release stated: “The weekend gatherings will feature on-stage appearances by TWILIGHT celebrities, exclusive footage screenings, panel discussions, TWILIGHT themed parties, musical performances, costume and trivia competitions, auctions, autographing, merchandising, and photo opportunities.”
Something a little disappointing is that Robert Pattinson (Edward Cullen) and Kristen Stewart (Bella) will not be in attendance. I did not see any info about the two being included in the tour. Bet Kristen is thankful she doesn’t have to show! She dislikes media.
The tour starts August 28 at the Hilton Parsippany Hotel in Parsippany, N.J., weekend conventions will be held in such cities as Chicago; Miami; Seattle; Nashville; San Francisco; Atlanta; Los Angeles; Charlotte, N.C.; Minneapolis; Phoenix; Boston; Toronto; and Portland, Ore.
The conventions are expected to happen for the next 3 years!
