Jay Leno will have three major stars helping him when he starts The Jay Leno Show this September. Jay-Z, Kanye West and Rihanna will be Jay’s musical guest on September 14 for his first episode. They will be performing “Run This Town” off of Jay’s new album, The Blueprint 3 (which I can’t wait for!).
This is a big deal for many reasons. One, it’s a great catch for Leno, who needs to silence nay-sayers as he makes his way into prime time. Secondly, this will be one of the first performances from Rihanna since her attack from Chris Brown. Thirdly, this shows what type of program Leno is looking to make. It’s probably going to aim for the younger, not-ready-for-bed viewers.
We don’t much else about Leno’s show so expect more information in the coming weeks. Hell, it’s starting in a little more than a month.
