There had been some rumors that Michael Jackson had left The Beatles’ song rights to Paul McCartney. To be fair, if anyone deserves the song rights, it’s him and Ringo Starr. Well, in a message on his website, Sir Paul has said he definitely does not have the rights to his songs, nor was he expecting them.
While Paul doesn’t have the rights yet, he doesn’t seem too angry at the late Michael. On his post, he says: “though Michael and I drifted apart over the years, we never really fell out, and I have fond memories of our time together.”
Oh well, maybe those song rights will make their way back to Paul and Ringo someday soon.
