Carrie Prejean dethroned

The great queen has fallen.  Carrie Prejean, Miss USA runner-up, Perez Hilton fan and all around fame hog, has been stripped (no pun intended) of her Miss California title by the Miss California USA organization.  Prejean, who survived not one but two scandals and retained her crown, was dethroned because of“contract violations” according to the organization. That’s just a polite way of saying she wanted all the fame but none of the work.

Donald Trump, owner of Miss USA (the organization, not the actual human being), was involved in the decision, which is effective immediately.  Miss California USA runner-up, Tami Farrell, will take the crown.

The organization’s director said Prejean wasn’t too keen on making appearances on behalf of Miss California USA and that the relationship hadn’t been repaired since last month’s press conference.  So she survived a big political scandal, then a photo scandal but was eventually taken down by her own doing.  Somewhere, deep in his secret hidden lair, Perez Hilton is laughing.
