Where’s Jeremy when you need him? While departing the recording studio, Jeff Ament and a studio staff member were surprised by three masked men who then attacked them. The studio, Southern Tracks, is located in a heavily wooded area in Atlanta Georgia, and the creeps used that cover to sneak up on the men, smashing the windows out of their Jeep.
The crooks took off with a blackberry, two laptops but then demanded money, at that point Ament took off running, bad idea, the bad guys tackled him and took $3000.00 in cash. Ament was treated for injuries to his head by paramedics.
Southern Tracks recording studio has also played host to Aerosmith, St
one Temple Pilots and Bob Dylan. The studio has no record of anything like this happening before. Cops have surveillance video, however no arrests have been made.
