The Golden Globe Awards drug in like every TV and movie star and even top directors like Martin Scorsese! Legendary actress Sophia Loren even showed up! Even the California Governator Arnold Schwarzenegger showed up to present an award. Everyone I can think of that is hot in TV and movies was there! Wait! There were a couple people missing now that I think of it: Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie! They were probably busy saving the world again

I’m not big into the fashion thing, but there is something I did notice at the Golden Globes that I did not care for. ‘Mermaid’ and ‘Drape Curtain’ style gowns! Why were so many female stars dressed in these long-ass gowns with a train dragging behind them, or their dress touching the ground? The rain in Beverly Hills was not helping this style of dress either!

Is this going to be the year of Mermaid and Drapey Gowns?

Prince Harry Visits New York to Play Polo and Does Some Charity

Prince Harry arrived in America yesterday for a game of Polo at the Governor’s Island at New York Harbor for the ‘Veuve Clicquot Manhattan Polo Classic’. Today, Saturday, he visited and toured Harlem’s Children Zone, a community organization that offers families social and educational services.
The Polo match was to raise charity for African orphan children that are battling AIDS. His mother Princess Diana was the reason why Harry set up the charity.
Harry told the Associated Press: “The prince [Prince Seeiso of Lesotho] and I both lost our mothers when we were very young,” Harry told a pre-match VIP gathering. “We set up Sentebale [Harry's charity org] in their memory, and because my mother loved this city, it makes this occasion all the more poignant for me.”
Other celebs that attended the match were Chloe Sevigny, Kate Hudson, and designer Marc Jacobs, who was seen chatting to Madonna and her sons Rocco and David.

Penelope Cruz Steals Show in Film “Nine” with Sexy Burlesque

The not yet released ‘musical’ film “Nine“, is filled with a star-studded cast: Daniel Day Lewis, Penelope Cruz, Nicole Kidman, Kate Hudson, ‘Prostitute’ Stacy ‘Fergie’ Ferguson, Marion Cotillard, Judi Dench and Sophia Loren.

Even though Fergie plays a prostitute, Nicole Kidman plays a sexy muse, and Kate Hudson plays a Vogue journalist, critics say it’s Pene’lope Cruz who looks set to steal the show.

The Daily Mail reports: “The Spanish actress [Penelope Cruz] puts on a racy burlesque performance in the highly anticipated movie which revolves around a film director, played by Daniel Day-Lewis, suffering from a mid-life crisis.”
“Cruz, who plays his mistress, slips into full seduction mode for the scene, in which she cavorts around in a basque, panties, pull-up stockings and high heels.”

Gwyneth’s Two Girls Out And About?

I don’t know why women let their little boys have super long hair. I don’t know if it’s so good when they have really fragile looking pretty faces. Cindy Crawford, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kate Hudson and now Gwenyth are guilty of this.  I think it’s some hippy revival thing trying to show how free they are as mothers to allow their kids to dictate things like haircuts and clothing.  Im not saying her kids aren’t adorable…but I’m pretty sure a little boy would rather look like a little boy. It’s not like Chris Martin has always been into long hair either. CUT THE HAIR!! Aye.

Kate Hudson Wants A Baby With Owen Wilson

A source close to Owen told The Sun, “Kate and Owen initially got back together three months ago after realizing they couldn’t live without each other. Now they are ready to become parents. They’ve discussed the idea of becoming parents at length and Kate has seen a change in Owen…He loves the idea of being a dad and has told Kate that he’s ready when she is, but the sooner, the better!”

The source added, “Kate is over the moon and really wants to start a family with Owen now [that] she feels he has finally grown up. The fact that he is ready to make that commitment to her has given her faith in the relationship.”

Can Owen Wilson operate heavy machinery yet?   I think he’s on medication preventing any sort of handling of cars,   jet fuel and demanding ex-girlfriends with ripe ovaries.

Jerry Seinfeld Thinks His Marriage Is A Joke

Jerry is ready to put his feet back into the shallow end of television and this time, reality television.

He feels that after enough marriage under his belt, he has the sword of power to be master of the universe and crush Dr. Phil’s skull in.   Marriage–and especially his marriage- is apparently a big hoot!

The Live Feed reports:

The comedian’s project is tentatively called “The Marriage Ref” and features celebrities, comedians and athletes who will judge couples in the midst of marital disputes while recommending various strategies to resolve their problems.

Seinfeld is partnering with “The Oprah Winfrey Show” veteran Ellen Rakieten on the project, which reunites the comedian with the network that aired his hit sitcom “Seinfeld” for nine years.

The only issue I see with this show is finding the really stable married people to be judges. Who the HELL are they going to get for this?   Oh wait, they are going to do it the old fashioned way and have whacked people judging other whacked people. I’ll sit back and see how this pans out.
