MIAMI, FL. (THECOUNT) — One Florida mother will not get to see her daughter walk down the aisle after being informed by the bride-to-be that she was uninvited from her upcoming wedding because – mom eats meat.
The unidentified 20-year-old woman, who is a strict vegan, sent out the RSVP invitations to friends and family member with the caveat – a “commitment” from guests – to give up all animal products for life.

Not even the own woman’s family would comply with the promise to give up meat, and as it turns out, her friends have also scoffed at the idea of committing to the beef ban.
But when potential guests refused, they were promptly uninvited from the nuptials.
The list of those who are no longer welcome at the nuptials include the bride’s mother and her cousins, reported Local10.
After receiving a onslaught of criticism, the woman took to Facebook to try and explain:
“Some family members were told they are not invited to my wedding because we don’t want to host murderers at our wedding which is supposed to be one of the happiest days of our lives.” wrote the bride.
The woman was originally fine with inviting meat-eaters to the wedding as long as they ate off the vegan menu. But later reconsidered after realizing the non-vegan guests would go back to eating meat the next day, reports say.
