HILLSBORO, OR. (THECOUNT) — Zack Mollet has been identified as the victim in a Friday afternoon two-vehicle crash in Hillsboro, Oregon.

Mollet, 19, was killed in a crash occurring Friday afternoon on NE Cornell Road between 34th Avenue and NE 25th Avenue, near the Aircraft Aviation Museum, around 2:30 p.m.

Police said Mollet was operating a black Scion tC headed west, when for unknown reasons, crossed centerlines and struck a Chevrolet Colorado pickup truck traveling in the opposite direction.

Mollet was pronounced dead at the scene of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.

The other driver, identified as William Mills, 81 , of Aloha and an unidentified 62-year-old passenger, were treated for non-life threatening injuries.

A crash reports noted that speed and weather were likely contributing factors in the fatal crash.

Local news outlets reported the victim as “Zachery Mollet-McEntee,” however, THECOUNT.com has learned that information, originally provided by authorities, may be inaccurate.
