JASPER, AL. (THECOUNT) — Suzanne C. Brown, of Cordova, and Kerrie C. Martin, from Empire, have been identified as the Alabama victims in a tragic two-vehicle double-fatal early Christmas Day in a crash near Jasper, according to the Alabama Department of Public Safety.

Brown, 61, and Martin, 38, were killed in a crash around 12:15 a.m. Christmas morning on U.S. 78, about five miles east of Jasper, according to a report.

Brown was a passenger in a Honda Accord on Interstate 75, when it collided with a Ford Taurus operated by Martin, according to reports.

The condition of additional victims, if any, was not provided.

Alabama State Troopers continued to investigate the crash.
