GREEN COUNTY, IN. (THECOUNT) — Scott White, of Linton, Indiana, has been identified as the victim found stabbed to death late Wednesday night, according to reports.

White, whose age was not provided, died of stab wounds late Wednesday night during an unknown altercation in Linton.

Police Chief Troy Jerrell said the Linton Police Department responded to an incident in the city limits late Wednesday night to a report of a stabbing.

The death is being treated as a homicide.

White, was transported to Greene County General Hospital where he was pronounced dead of stab wounds. source
