MILTON, FL. (THECOUNT) — Steven Bailey, of Milton, Florida, has been named as one of two victims in a deadly late night Saturday crash in Santa Rosa County.

The double-fatal accident occurred just after 11:30 p.m. after the unnamed driver of a westbound Dodge Charger veered into the eastbound lanes at Quintette Road west of Wallace Lake, in Milton.

Bailey, 35, was killed while operating a Harley Davidson motorcycle eastbound on Quintette, Rd., after being struck by the Charger which was traveling westbound.

The Florida Highway Patrol said a 2011 Dodge Charger was westbound on Quintette Road west of Wallace Lake in Santa Rosa County about 11:35 p.m. when the driver veered into the eastbound lane and collided with a 2018 Harley motorcycle driven by 34-year old Steven Bailey of Milton. The collision caused the first vehicle to catch fire and continue to skid along the road until it hit a tree and came to a final rest on the south shoulder of the Quitette Road.

Bailey skidded until he came to a final rest on the south shoulder of Quintette Road.

Both drivers were pronounced deceased at the scene.

The name of the Charger driver has not yet been released pending notification of next of kin.
