POCOMOKE CITY, MD. (THECOUNT) — Treyquan Johnson, 26, of the Pocomoke City area, has been identified as the man killed Tuesday morning in a two-vehicle motorcycle crash in Worcester County, Maryland, on the Eastern Shore.

The fatal collision occurred around 6 a.m. on Old Virginia Road near Ocean Highway, according to the Worcester County Sheriff’s Office.

Responding emergency personnel found a 2004 Harley-Davidson motorcycle and a 2012 Ford Mustang involved in the crash. “Pspoot TR” Johnson, who was operating the motorcycle, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Mustang was evaluated at the scene but did not require transportation to a medical facility.

A preliminary investigation indicates impairment does not appear to have been a factor for either driver. Authorities have not released what caused the vehicles to collide.

The Sheriff’s Office Crash Reconstruction Unit was requested to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision and is working with the agency’s Criminal Bureau of Investigation. The investigation remains ongoing, and no charges have been announced.

Pocomoke City is located in Worcester County on Maryland’s Eastern Shore, near the Virginia state line and approximately 30 miles south of Salisbury. Old Virginia Road connects the Pocomoke City area with U.S. 13, a major north-south route through the Eastern Shore.
