SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ. (THECOUNT) — Sierra Grey, 27, of South Plainfield, has been identified as the woman killed over the weekend in a motorcycle crash involving a Subaru Outback at an intersection in South Plainfield, Middlesex County, New Jersey.
The fatal collision occurred at approximately 7:22 p.m. Saturday, September 12, at the intersection of Ledden Terrace and Clinton Avenue, according to the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office and the South Plainfield Police Department.

South Plainfield police received a 911 call reporting a collision at the intersection. When officers arrived, they found Grey operating a motorcycle and a Subaru Outback operated by a 76-year-old South Plainfield man involved in the crash.
Grey suffered fatal injuries in the collision and was pronounced dead at the scene. The Subaru driver was not injured, officials said.
The initial investigation was conducted by South Plainfield Police Sgt. Shane McCoid and Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office Detective James Barnes.
Investigators determined that the Subaru was making a left turn onto Ledden Terrace from Clinton Avenue when it was struck on the front driver’s side by a Honda SBR1000 motorcycle, according to officials.
The 76-year-old driver of the Subaru escaped without reported injury.
The crash remains under active investigation. Officials have not announced whether speed, impairment, visibility, roadway conditions or any other contributing factor played a role in the collision.
No charges or citations have been announced in connection with the crash. The investigation will continue as detectives review the scene, examine the vehicles and gather information from potential witnesses.
The Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office and South Plainfield Police Department did not release additional details concerning the exact sequence of events immediately before the collision.
