OSCEOLA COUNTY, FL. (THECOUNT) — A 22-year-old woman, Brianna Alvelo, from Florida, is now facing serious charges following an incident where she allegedly stabbed a customer over what she perceived as an insufficient tip for a pizza delivery. Alvelo was taken into custody and spent Christmas in Osceola County Jail, charged with attempted murder, kidnapping, home invasion with a firearm, and aggravated assault, as per a Wednesday announcement by the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office on their official social media.
The incident unfolded on December 22 at the Riviera Motel in Kissimmee, where Alvelo, along with an unidentified male accomplice, forcibly entered a room. According to police reports, Alvelo, armed with a knife, attacked the occupant, stabbing him multiple times. The male accomplice was said to be carrying a firearm. Following the assault, they allegedly proceeded to steal various items from the room before fleeing.

Alvelo had previously delivered pizza to the same room earlier that evening, and the Sheriff’s Office states her discontent with the tip she received was the motive behind the subsequent attack.
She was apprehended the day after the incident and is currently held without bail in Osceola County Jail. The male suspect involved in the crime remains at large.
The victim, whose identity has not been disclosed, was hospitalized post-incident and was reported to be in stable condition by December 25.
Efforts to reach an attorney for Alvelo for comment were unsuccessful at the time of this report.
