WESTMORELAND COUNTY, PA. (THECOUNT) — Robert Deemer, of Johnstown, Pennsylvania, has been identified as the victim in a Friday double-fatal vehicle crash in Westmoreland County. Gerald McGeary, of Seward, was also killed in the two-vehicle crash.
According to reports, Deemer was operating a Dodge Ram pickup truck near Laurel Ridge State Park in St. Clair Township, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and into opposing lanes around 3 p.m. Friday. The vehicle then came into head-on contact with a Chrysler 300 operated by 84-year-old McGeary.

Both men were pronounced dead of blunt force injuries at the scene.
Two other individuals were injured in the crash and were transported to area hospitals.
A GoFundMe was started for Deemer’s young son who was critically injured in the wreck.
