INGLEWOOD, CA. (THECOUNT) — What a difference a day makes.. The Inglewood, California Roscoe’s House of Chicken & Waffles reopened for business 24 hours after rapper PnB Rock died inside the eatery during an apparent robbery.

Rock, real name Rashim Allen, was seen on video bleeding out from multiple gunshot wounds on the floor at the popular restaurant on Monday.

Rock was fatally shot while eating lunch with his girlfriend, Stephanie Sibounheuang, at the restaurant at Main and W. Manchester Avenue around 1:20 p.m. Monday.

Rock’s girlfriend Stephanie Sibounheuang posted pictures on an Instagram story showing off the rapper’s jewelry, then in a later post, Sibounheuang tagged the Inglewood location of the restaurant in which they were dining.

A short time later, Police responded to a call of a shooting at Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles. Rock would later die at an area hospital around 1:30 p.m. Monday, the victim on an apparent robbery.

Police say no other patrons were harmed during the robbery and confirmed that the rapper was “targeted for his jewelry.”

The suspect brandished a firearm inside the restaurant and demanded items from PnB Rock. “He shot the victim and ran out the side door to a getaway car and then fled the parking lot,” said Los Angeles police Capt. Kelly Muniz, reports RapRadar.

It’s unknown if the suspect or suspects in the shooting were monitoring Sibounheuang’s IG account.
