ROSS COUNTY, OH. (THECOUNT) — Cody Jordan, of Chillicothe, Ohio, has been identified as the victim fatally struck by a suspected DUI driver while he was on the porch of his Ross County Monday night.
Jordan, 27, was killed after being struck by a vehicle that collided with the porch area of his Chillicothe home Monday Night. The involved driver was identified as 35-year-old Jesse Garcilaso of Chillicothe.

According to reports, Garcilaso was operating a vehicle in Chillicothe, when the vehicle exited the roadway and made contact with two parked vehicles before striking a home at 15217 Pleasant Valley Road in Chillicothe around 6:30 p.m. Monday. Jordan, who was occupying the porch area of the home, was struck.
Jordan was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of injuries suffered in the collision.
Alcohol is believed to be a factor involving the crash, according to officials.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
