WISE COUNTY, TX. (THECOUNT) — Jarrid Hendon, of Bowie, Texas, has been identified as the victim in a Thursday night vehicle crash in Wise County.
Hendon, 33, was killed in a two-vehicle crash near Boyd Thursday night.

According to reports, Hendon was operating a GMC pickup truck pulling a trailer on TX-114 near Boyd, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and into opposing lanes. The pickup then came into contact with a Volvo passenger vehicle.
The pickup then exited the roadway before colliding with a fence and a tree around 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
Hendon was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
The Volvo operator, Jamie L. Wilhelm, 50, and two passengers ages 52 and 14, all from Springtown, were not injured in the incident.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
