PANAMA CITY BEACH, FL. (THECOUNT) — Joy Hamilton Chappelear, of Jacksonville, Florida, has been identified as the motorcycle passenger killed Saturday night in Panama City Beach.
Chappelear, 52, was killed in a motorcycle crash near Panama City Beach Saturday night.

According to reports, Chappelear was riding as a passenger on a Harley Davidson Street Glide, operated by 44-year-old Christopher Ray Collier of Fleming island, Florida, in the area of Front Beach Road and Petrel Street, Panama City Beach, when the bike came into contact with a Lincoln MKX around 9:30 p.m. Saturday.
Collier was critically injured in the collision.
Chappelear was transported to an area hospital where she was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
It is unknown if the Lincoln driver suffered any injuries in the crash.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
