LIMESTONE COUNTY, AL. (THECOUNT) — Samantha Riggs and Cody James Barnes have been identified as the victims in a triple-fatal crash in Limestone County, Louisiana Thursday night.
Passengers, Riggs, 25, and Barnes, 36, were both killed in a crash in near Athens Thursday night. Gregory Keith McCluskey, 40, the operator of the vehicle, was also killed in the crash.

According to reports, Riggs and Barnes were traveling as passengers in a Pontiac G6 traveling on US-76 near Athens, when the vehicle came into contact with a GMC Sierra around 7 p.m. Thursday.
Riggs, Barnes and McCluskey were all pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
A crash report noted that none of the victims were wearing a seatbelt.
The unnamed driver of the GMC was transported to an area hospital in unknown condition.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
