TERREBONNE PARISH, LA. (THECOUNT) — Michael Turnage of Houma, Louisiana, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Tuesday night motorcycle crash in Terrebonne Parish.

Turnage, 24, was killed in a motorcycle crash near Chauvin Tuesday night.

According to reports, Turnage was operating a Honda Shadow motorcycle on Louisiana 56 near Prosperity Street in Chauvin, when the bike came into contact with a Dodge Durango operated by 31-year-old Chauvin resident Rich Verdin, around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Turnage, who was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
