BELTRAMI COUNTY, MN. (THECOUNT) — James Edward Olson, of Winona, Minnesota, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Tuesday afternoon crash in Beltrami County.
Olson, 64, was killed in a two-vehicle crash involving a dump truck late Tuesday afternoon in Turtle River Township.

According to reports, Olson was operating a pickup truck on Parkers Lake Road near Bemidji, when the vehicle came into contact with a dump truck in the area of NE. Birchmont Beach Road around 4 p.m. Tuesday.
Olson, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
Greggory Raymond Dobmeier, of Kelliher, identified as the dump truck driver, was uninjured in the crash.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
