JASPER COUNTY, TX. (THECOUNT) — Missing Christoval, Texas woman, Anabel “Anna” Bruton, has been found deceased near Kirbyville on Thursday.
According to Gina Bruton, Anna’s mother, the 29-year-old was discovered in a wooded area near where she was last seen.

According to the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office, officials found a body near Farm-to-Market 252 on the outskirts of Kirbyville, Texas, but have not officially confirmed it belonged to Bruton.

“Today we received the news no parent wants to receive,” Gina Bruton said in a Facebook post. “Thank you to everyone that supported us, prayed for us, shared the posts and helped in trying to locate Anna. Please continue to pray for our family; especially Anna’s children.”
“This location is the same area where missing person Anabel Bruton was last seen in February 2020,” a release stated.
