WEST BRANCH, IA. (THECOUNT) — Jennifer S Terguson of Marion, Iowa, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Friday morning vehicle crash near West Branch.
Terguson, 48, was killed in a crash early Friday morning on I-80 near Johnson County.

According to officials, Terguson was operating a Chevy Impala when she was struck by a Jeep Grand Cherokee on Interstate 80 near the West Branch exit around 12 a.m. Friday.
The force sent the Impala into the median and rolled on its side. The Jeep came to rest in a ditch, according to KCRG.
Ferguson was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
She was not wearing her seatbelt at the time of the violent crash.
The driver of the Jeep was transported to an area hospital in unknown condition.
The crash remains under investigation.
