AMARILLO, TX. (THECOUNT) — Michael Brown and Cameron Cherb, both of Amarillo, has been identified as the victims in a double-fatal single-vehicle crash near Amarillo New Year’s Day, according to reports.

Brown, 34, and Cherb, 35, both died in a single-vehicle crash on I-27 in Amarillo on Wednesday morning.

According to officials, a vehicle was traveling on I-27, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway. The vehicle then entered a culvert which caused it to rollover several times.

Both occupants of the vehicle were ejected during the violent crash.

At this time, DPS officials say it is undetermined who was driving at the time of the crash, reports NewsChannel10.

Brown and Cherb were both pronounced dead at the scene of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.

DPS officials say they were not wearing seatbelts.

The crash remains under investigation.
