THOMASVILLE, NC. (THECOUNT) — Baasil Fuller, of Thomasville, North Carolina, has been identified as the victim fatally struck by a train on Thursday morning, according to reports.
“Mustafah” Fuller, 29, was struck and killed by a train Thursday morning in Thomasville.

Officials say, Fuller was on-foot in the area of West Main & Fisher Ferry Crossing in Thomasville, NC, when he was killed by a passing train around 10:30 a.m. Thursday. The train’s average speed was 60 mph.
Fuller was killed instantly.
Police said the conductor told authorities that the train was traveling south when he saw a pedestrian walk into the gauge of the track as he was passing Randolph Street, reports WXII.
The conductor stated he sounded the horn but Fuller did not respond. There was no way to stop in time, according to the conductor.
The freight train had three locomotives and was pulling 20 cars, weighing 2,147 tons and a length of 2,795 feet.
According to Facebook, Fuller was originally from Newark, New Jersey.
It is unknown why Fuller, of Goforth Dr, was on the tracks.
