LAS VEGAS, NV. (THECOUNT) — Magician Criss Angel has made the sad announcement saying that his 5-year-old son, Johnny Crisstopher Sarantakos, has had a return of lymphoblastic cancer.
In a recent interview, the illusionist — who shares Johnny with Shaunyl Benson — revealed that Johnny is going back to the hospital after his cancer returned following a brief remission. Johnny was first diagnosed with leukemia in 2015.

Angel wed the Australian beauty, the mother to his son Johnny, in February of 2015.
Criss was forced to admit that he was the father of a son, Johnny Crisstopher Sarantakos, who was diagnosed with cancer late in 2015.
This is the second marriage for the illusionist, who was previously married to JoAnn Winkhart. She filed for divorce in 2006 after four years of marriage.
In 2015, Angel cancelled his Las Vegas shows as his son underwent treatment for cancer.
No word it he will again cancel shows.
Little Johnny was diagnosed with lymphoblastic leukemia, a common type of children’s cancer. Thankfully, the prognosis for this type of cancer is good with treatment.
At the time, the Mindfreak magician shared the news on Twitter that his son had cancer.
Angel tweeted on Thursday, “In light of a family emergency the news I was going to announce this weekend will be postponed. Thank you xc”.
