SANTA BARBARA, CA. (THECOUNT) — Former Miss Florida, Valerie Lundeen, has been identified as the elderly woman found dead at the luxurious Santa Barbara Hope Ranch community home of Tarzan star Ron Ely, according to Wednesday morning reports.
It is unknown if Ely, 81, who is listed as the owner of the house, was at the “private beach” property at the time of the deadly incident.

It’s unclear what relationship, if any, Ely has to the elderly woman.
Radar is reporting Wednesday morning that authorities are investigating the incident as a possible homicide.
The Santa Barbara Sheriff’s Department confirmed the news of their Twitter page this Wednesday, October 16.
Police were initially called to the property for a family disturbance at 8:15 p.m. on Tuesday, October 15, according to KCAL. When they arrived at the scene, shots were fired, and the suspect was killed.
