POTTER COUNTY, TX. (THECOUNT) — Travis Arbuckle has been identified as the victim killed in a single-vehicle ejection crash in Potter County, TX on Tuesday night.

Arbuckle, 33, died after being ejected Tuesday night in a pickup truck rollover crash on U.S. 87. The crash occurred about 20 miles north of Amarillo.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, Arbuckle was operating a Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD on U.S. 87, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway. The vehicle then attempted to over-correct causing the pickup to rollover.

Arbuckle was ejected during the violent crash.

He was not wearing a seatbelt, per the crash report.

Arbuckle was pronounced dead at the scene of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.

The TxDPS said speed is believed to be a factor in the crash, reports NewsChannel10.

The investigation is ongoing.
