OXFORD, AL. (THECOUNT) — Ramiah Leonard, the young daughter of senior pastor at Anniston Life Center Church, Eugene Leonard Jr, was identified as the victim in a two-vehicle crash in Oxford, Alabama.

Ramiah, 10, was killed in a crash Friday while traveling inside a Lexus vehicle with her mother on Alabama 21 in Oxford after 8 a.m.

Ramiah was pronounced dead of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.

Ramiah was riding in the passenger seat of the Lexus, driven north by her mother, when the car turned left at an intersection near the 2200 block of Alabama 21 and collided with a southbound Jeep.

Oxford City Schools spokesman Roy Bennett said faculty and students at the school Ramiah attended were saddened by the news of her death, reports AnnistonStar.

“Her family and classmates are in our thoughts and prayers,” Bennett said.

Bennett said counselors will be available today and next week as Ramiah’s classmates grieve.

The investigation into the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
