RUSTON, LA. (THECOUNT) – The mother of one of the victims in last night’s deadly storm has identified the two people killed at a Ruston home as 34-year-old Kendra Butler and her grandson 14-year-old Remington Butler.
Cathy Butler made the grim identifications adding Remington would have turned 15 in two days and was a freshman at Ruston High School.

According to the National Weather Service’s preliminary information on last night’s storms, at least an EF3 tornado touched down in Ruston, reports KSLA.
No further information was provided. Officials have not made a positive identification on the victims.
