TARPON SPRINGS, FL. (THECOUNT) — Shelby John Nealy was taken into custody Friday in the Cleveland suburb of Lakewood, Ohio, after he was found in possession of a stolen vehicle belonging to his Florida in-laws, that were found dead along with their son. Three dogs were also found dead at the grisly scene.

Nealy, 25, was arrested Friday. It remained unclear if he was charged with any crime at this time.

Police in Tarpon Springs were performing a New Year’s Day welfare check when they located the bodies of Richard Louis Ivancic; his wife, 59-year-old Laura Ann Ivancic; and their son, 25-year-old Nicholas James Ivancic, in a state of ‘advanced decomposition.’

Police have not provided a cause of death.

Officials say they are now searching for Nealy’s wife, Jamie Nicole Ivancic, the daughter of the slain couple, dailynews reports.

The woman is reported missing under what police say are ‘suspicious circumstances,’ without elaborating.
