Michelle McMillan, the 58-year-old Oregon woman wanted for a July 30 crash that killed 36-year-old Nathaniel Franciosi while he was walking on a sidewalk, was arrested in California and extradited to Oregon to face a manslaughter charge.
Franciosi was walking on the sidewalk along Pacific Highway when 2 cars crashed and one came to rest on the sidewalk, striking him. Franciosi was rushed to the hospital but later died from his injuries. One of those drivers, McMillan, who was not seriously injured, had a blood alcohol content of more than 3 times the legal limit.

The other driver involved in the crash, a 71-year-old man, was also seriously injured.
McMillan was indicted by a Washington County grand jury and a warrant was issued for her arrest, but she fled the area and was not located until November 19.
On that date, she was found in Lincoln, California and has been jailed since. In the early hours of Friday, McMillan arrived at the Washington County Jail. She’s being held on charges of 1st-degree manslaughter, DUII, 2 counts of 3rd-degree assault, reckless endangering, reckless driving and 2nd-degree criminal mischief. source
