‘Bully’ Documentary Will NOT Have Rating at All

After 500,000 signatures of people agreeing that the new film “Bully” should not be R-rated, the Weinstein Company announced last night, that the documentary will now be released without a rating.

People wanted to the rating change to loosen up from a harsh “Restricted” rating, to PG-13, as R-rated would limit viewers who are under 17-years-old, and people under 17 are getting bullied the worse. Now, the movie has no rating at all!

The movie was previously given the R-rated stamp by the MPAA (Motion Picture Association of America) because of the strong curse words in the film. But these curse words are not scripted, as they are real and true words said in this documentary by kids who reflect upon bullying incidents.
